The Table de concertation des organismes au service des personnes réfugiées et immigrantes (TCRI) and Doctors of the World Canada have joined forces to offer an information document on COVID-19 for migrants residing in Quebec.
The Government of Quebec gives access to designated medical clinics dedicated to the diagnosis of COVID-19 to all, regardless of your access to a medical insurance or your immigration status.
REMINDER – main symptoms of COVID-19: |
The symptoms can be mild (similar to a cold) or more severe (similar to those associated with pneumonia and respiratory or kidney failure). |
To access the designated clinics, please refer to the instructions in the box at the end of the document. If you are concerned that you may have COVID-19 or have symptoms, it is important to isolate yourself to protect others. If you are waiting for a COVID-19 test and your symptoms worsen, you should go to the hospital, call 811 or 911 before coming in, if possible, and indicate that you are a person under investigation for COVID-19. |
